Some evenings start with a show. The best ones start a little earlier, with a glass of something French and a table on Wellington Street.
Boulevard Brasserie sits at 40 Wellington Street, in the heart of Covent Garden, so it’s the perfect stop on your way to the best of London’s West End. More than 20 theatres are within a 10 minute walk of our door. You can take your time over dinner and still be in your seat before the lights go down.
This Season’s Big Ticket: Jesus Christ Superstar
Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s rock opera has come to Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Catherine Street, just around the corner from us. It runs from 16 October 2026 to 9 January 2027.
Sam Ryder makes his West End debut as Jesus, and a rotating line-up of famous guest stars takes turns as Herod. That means no two visits are quite the same, so it’s a good excuse to come back.
The show runs for around two hours including the interval. That leaves plenty of time for a relaxed pre-theatre dinner with us first, and maybe a nightcap afterwards.

Available every day from 12pm to 6.30pm, so it works just as well before a matinée as before an evening show.
