LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Covent Garden West Piazza

Covent Garden itself, is renowned for it’s street performers and buzzing atmosphere. Since the 1660s Covent Garden has never missed a chance to put on a performance. The first record of Covent Garden street entertainment came in 1662, when Samuel Pepys’ diary notes that a marionette show featuring a character named Punch took place on the Piazza. Today, the custom continues. Based just off the Piazza, Boulevard Brasserie is still in the heart of this historical tradition.

The Royal Opera House

The Royal Opera House is home to two of the Wold’s great artistic companies- the Royal Opera and the Royal Ballet, performing with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House. The building itself has hosted some impressive ‘firsts’ including Pygmalion, performed in 1734, which is said to be the first ‘ballet d’action’ and the first ever public performance on a piano in England. With this British gem right opposite us, we host the perfect venue for drinks or bite to eat before you watch the shows.
